Data protection
This website scrupulously respects the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD). Your privacy is one of our priorities.
The owner of PRIVtools is the CONTROLLER OF PROCESSING and can be contacted via email at daniel(at)privtools.eu.
The processing of personal data is:
- IP addresses of users who visit the website, exclusively in the server logs to maintain the security of the website. The legal basis for this processing is the legal obligation, established in art. 32 of the GDPR.
- name, email and other contact details of those users who contact via the contact form or by email, in order to respond to requests for information from users and to maintain communication. The legal basis for this processing is consent.
- Unless you express your refusal, via your browser’s Do No Track parameter, we use Plausible as a data analysis tool to determine the number of visits to our pages and to obtain aggregate data on how PRIVtools is used by those who visit us. This is in any case data referring to anonymised and very basic IP addresses. This allows us to understand what content is most in demand and to improve our service. In no case do we share, give or sell this data to any third party. The data will not be used for any other purpose, such as advertising or profiling. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest.
Personal data will not be used for purposes other than those for which they were collected, nor will they be illegitimately transferred to third parties. No commercial communications of any kind will be sent. The data will be treated confidentially and the necessary technical and/or organisational security measures will be applied to avoid security breaches of personal data as far as possible.
Sharing personal data is not foreseen, except by legal obligation, nor international data transfers. Personal data will not be used for profiling or for automatic individualised decision-making.
Personal data will be kept for the minimum period necessary for the purposes for which they are intended, and for a maximum of 2 years, unless legally obliged to do so.
Data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification, opposition, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), limitation of processing, portability and the right not to be subject to individualised decisions. In order to exercise these rights, data subjects may apply to the e-mail address daniel(at)privtools.eu, clearly indicating in the subject line “Exercise of personal data rights” and in the body of the message details of the right requested.
Users shall be responsible in all cases for the veracity of the data provided, and the owner of the website reserves the right to exclude any user/collaborator who has provided false or erroneous data, without prejudice to any other actions that may be applicable by law. Likewise, if a user provides personal data of a third party, he/she must have previously ensured that he/she has their consent to do so, fully exempting the owner of this website from liability for his/her conduct.
